72nd INDEPENDENCE DAY – 2018
Like every year, this year the 72nd independence day celebrations at D.A.V school was a gala of programmes, consisting of patriotic songs, dance, mass drills, yoga and school band.
Students braved the weather and put up a great show. Smt. PREMA MAHADEVAN, Educational officer, Vivekananda Educational Society, was the chief guest who hoisted the National Flag. The prolific speeches given by three of the school students were greatly admired by the esteemed chief guest. Smt. Prema Mahadevan, in her speech shared some eye opening facts about the glorious history of this great nation.
Towards the end of the programme, prizes were distributed for the sporting events conducted for classes from Pre K.G to IV std.
